"Many games provide fun, but Bridge grips you. It exercises your mind. Your mind can rust, you know, but Bridge prevents the rust from forming."Omar Sharif.

Research is continually showing that the onset of a number of significant brain related illnesses can be delayed or offset by the active use of our 'grey matter'. The Australian Bridge Federation have a close association with a number of significant research facilities examining the cause and potential treatments of these illnesses and with a high representation of players in the higher age brackets bridge does seem to be a very effective way of keeping our brains both active and healthy.

Busselton Bridge Club accepts no responsibility for the addiction that playing bridge causes!
