SUPERVISED PLAYING SESSIONS 2026 Venue: The Lesser Hall, Busselton Senior Citizens Centre, 22 Peel Terrace, Busselton, Saturdays 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
Cost: $5.00 per session per person.
Audience: Non-Members are welcome to attend if they have completed a Beginners Course or if they have some experience playing Bridge.
Members are welcome to attend, and are encouraged to mentor beginners
Bring along your notes on bidding and card play to assist you in the session.
Supervised/Practice playing sessions are continuing with a slightly different format:
From Saturday 10 July 2026, for 4 weeks, come along and play randomly dealt hands, to consolidate your basic bidding and play strategies.

From Saturday 8 August 2026 for 4 weeks, practice your play in a competitive environment.
You will play random boards, scoring using Bridgemates, with approximately 12 minutes a hand.

IMPROVERS STAGE 1 LESSONS 2026
From Saturday 5 September 2026 we will begin Improvers Stage 1 lessons.
These sessions are learning sessions....focussed on simple commonly used conventions as a follow on from your Beginners Lessons.
Likely Schedule :
Weak 2's and Pre-empts
Stayman
Jacoby Transfers
Strong Opening Bids
Slam bidding (Blackwood, Quantitative 4NT, Gerber)
Takeout and Negative Doubles
Reverses
Other simple conventions on request
CLUB PLAYING SESSIONS 2026
Beginners who have just finished their Beginners Lessons - If you can get a group of 4 or 8 together,
please join us at our Club session on Monday in Dunsborough or Wednesday in Busselton.
You can play some prepared hands at your own pace.
Cost is $12.00 for Non-Members or $7.00 for members.
This is an opportunity for you to practice playing lots of hands, with a mentor available to assist.
